    Freshwater mussels are unsung hardshelled heros- cleaning our streams from pollutants, algae, and bacteria. We are piloting small-scale freshwater mussel hatcheries on farms in the region to reduce non-point source pollution and improve habitat for many semi-aquatic species. Learn more below.
